PartsForScooters will be at Indy again this year!

PartsForScooters is going to the Indianapolis Dealer Expo again this year, and we are in the full time crunch to get everything ready.  Come visit us in Booth 4073, we’ll be giving stuff away, talking to our dealers and hanging with our friends in the Power Sports industry.  We might even have a show special for all of our customers and friends who visit us, I guess you’ll just have to show up to find out!

We had a great showing last year, and this year promises to be even better, and yes, we’ll still have a place in our booth where you can take a load off and rest your show weary feet.  Look for the orange flags this year, we’ll be even easier to find.  I promise.

Bel-Ray Oils, Dr. Pulley and… Vee Rubber?

Well, it has been quite a while since we’ve posted here, and after a call out on the Scoot Dawg Forum (thanks guys) I decided that it is time to bring this back to life.

We’ve had a great year at PartsForScooters.com, and are looking forward to continuing to offer more and more to our customers while keeping more product in stock and continuing to make business in the scooter market as easy as possible.  Some of the exciting things that have been going on here:

We have Dr. Pulley in stock!  Not only do we have Dr. Pulley, but we have more Dr. Pulley than anyone else in the US.  In fact we are the only Scooter Parts Distributor in the US to offer Dr. Pulley round rollers as well as their patented sliders, variators and HiT Clutches.  We are very excited about helping to bring this high performance brand of parts to our customers.  We will be carrying Dr. Pulley products for all major and minor players in the scooter market, from Vespa and Aprilia to Kymco to Znen.  So if you have a scooter, and are looking for some of the best transmission products that you can buy for it, we may just have you covered.  Take a look and give us a shot.

We used Dr. Pulley products in our drag scooter this year at the Twist and Gone event and they served us extremely well.  We won our class, and the King of the Hill event, so not too shabby.

We now have Bel-Ray Oils and Chemicals  in stock and available!  We are now the only Scooter Parts Distributor in the US with a full line of oils from a major power sports oils and chemicals brand.  Bel-Ray is some of the highest quality oil on the market and also is an American company.  If you haven’t ever used their products, take a look at what we have and give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed.  If you have used their products, or are currently using Bel-Ray oil in your scooter, now you have a scooter centric source to purchase from, and our pricing is competitive with the rest of the market!

Lastly, we will be adding another line of tires to our selection very shortly.  We have agreed to become the latest distributor for Vee Rubber Scooter Tires.  Vee Rubber is a high quality tire manufacturer based in Thailand, with offices in Atlanta.  They have a wide variety of scooter tires, including tires just for winter and inclement weather for all of you hard core riders out there.  As soon as I have more information available about this, I’ll post it up here.

Just a heads up on what we’ve been doing at PartsForScooters.com…

We have been very busy the last couple of months here at PartsForScooters.com, and so there has not been much action on the blog here.  Well, this is about to change.  PartsForScooters.com has some exciting news to announce shortly about some exciting new products that we will soon have available.  Stay tuned!

Also, we are gearing up for Twist and Gone 2011, are you going to be there?  Twist and Gone is the nationwide head’s up drag racing and scooter rally weekend that takes place in Nashville, Indiana.  Nashville is a very pictuesque artsy town in the hills of southern Indiana, and it is worth going just to check out the shops and beauty of the area.

For the rest of us however it is all about the races.  We will be returning with our 80cc NOS powered QMB139 scooter.  Hopefully we’ll do better than we did last year (y’know, when we came in second in our class…  out of two), if you don’t remember that story click here.  We are also hoping to bring a couple more scoots so we can enter a few more classes.  That way all of us attending from PFS can race.  We’ll see how that goes.

Also we hope to make it back to Deal’s Gap, US129 on the way home.  What a road!  I’ve been toying with the idea of inviting our customers to ride with us there in the fall; what do you think?  I’d love to meet the people who keep us going, and where better to do it than at one of the best riding roads ever, and what is even better is that the speed limits on the road make it very scooter friendly, so we all can have fun.  Sometimes even more so than on a sportbike or in a sportscar.  Don’t worry though, if you must go faster there are PLENTY of great roads in the Smokey Mountains.  It is a motorsports playground.

Getting ready for Indy

This weekend is the Dealer Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana and PartsForScooters.com is packing up to go.  If you are a Powersports dealer this is the single largest event in the USA so we hope that you will be attending. Our booth number is 6016 and we hope to see you there.  We’ll be in the Scooter Section on the main floor and if your feet are tired we’ll have a couple of chairs available so that you can take a load off.

After we get back I’ll post up some pictures of some of the cool stuff that we see there, as well as some of our customers should any be willing to pose for us.
